I’m not the only one making a prodigal return! Last night, the Tuesday Night dinner crew gave the new Sauced in the Paseo district a second chance. Continue reading

Guest Post: Kalamata Jenn Brunches it up in OKC!

Ah, brunch. The bastard child of breakfast and lunch, somehow this meal has transcended its stuffed-shirt parents: its name implies a decadent, satisfying, and unhurried mid-day meal. And, of course, an excuse to drink in the morning. Continue reading

Social Nomming–Saturn Grill

The place has a magical quality to it, thanks mostly to it’s whimsical decor. I’m thrilled to hear about the new location in Quail Springs and I can’t wait to see if it’s as uniquely decorated as the Nichols Hills original. Continue reading

Everything’s better on a stick

My dear sweet Pickle is horribly plagued by allergies and that kept us from heading out to the Oklahoma State Fair this weekend. Instead, we got some folks together and headed to Sean Cummings Irish Pub in NW Oklahoma to ply my disappointment with Irish beer. Picasso’s situates itself perfectly between the two, serving incredibly fresh, unique but accessible dishes for a more than reasonable price. Continue reading

Not-so-off-topic Tuesday: The Tuesday Night Tradition

So, I thought I’d introduce you all to Tuesday Nights. The Pickle and I have been
meeting our friends on Tuesday nights for nearly 6 years. It started out as visits to a
coffee shop followed by late night dinners at IHOP. But as we got older and gained more
responsibilities (BORING), it morphed into a quick and easy dinner with friends to help
us break up the week. Continue reading
